19.11.2004 BASSCOM Delegation visited Dublin for the ICTalent event
On 18th of November BASSCOM has participated in “ICTalent in Bulgaria – Doing business in the Bulgarian ICT sector” in Dublin. The one day seminar was organized by the Bulgarian Embassy in Ireland and Bulgaria Invest Agency, in cooperation with Deloitte Griffith College Dublin, and with the assistance of Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment and Irish Business and Employers Confederation.

10 Companies from BASSCOM returned on the 23rd October from the SYSTEMS Expo in Munich. The ICT trade fair was marked by the presence of a strong Bulgarian group, comprised of representatives from Acsior, Bianor, Eastisoft, Interconsult, MPS, Musala Soft, Nemetschek, Sirma, Webgate and Wizcom.

ICT Development Agency
Information and Communication Technologies Development Agency has officially started its activities on February 15th, 2002. The Agency is subordinated to the Minister of Transport and Communications and will carry out functions related to administration, collection and spending of funds to support the development of telecommunications, posts' infra-structure, and information and communication technologies (ICT). It is managed by a director, appointed by the Minister of Transport and Communications and approved by the Prime Minister.
